PSU Trainings & Workshops

We offer workshops and trainings for youth, adults, youth & adults, and humanitarian aid professionals working with refugees.

Our tailored workshops and trainings cover issues including; setting up a youth hub space; improving access to education for refugees; youth leadership; youth-adult partnerships; human centered design; and participatory community-based research.

1. Using Human Centered Design (HCD) in your classroom - This workshop prepares Community Learning Center (CLC) teachers and volunteers to use HCD practices in their classroom as a way to improve student learning outcomes; create a fun learning environment that challenges and keeps students involved; fosters innovation; and gets students thinking about real world problems; equips them with the tools to come -up with solutions; and to build improved communication between students, parents, and teachers.

2. Creating Youth Adult Partnerships at your school or community center- It’s more than a buzz word. Empowering youth to become active decision-makers and leaders means a better world for all of us. This hands on workshop will get you out of your comfort zone and ready to implement high impact programs.

3. Improving access to education for refugees 101- New to working in the refugee education sector? Wanting to hear a different perspective? This training will provide you with all of the information you need to get started.
